The demand for Indian onions in the world is growing rapidly. India is the second-largest producer of onions across the world. During the fiscal year 2022-2023, India exported 2,182,826.23 MT of onions to several countries. The export of onions from India was worth Rs 3,425.46 crores (or 417.70 USD Millions) during the same period. India exports onions to several countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and others.
